On Wednesday, 17 December 2025, in the morning at around 10:00, in Anykščių district municipality, on Jono Biliūno street, at the junction with Respublikos a., a Scania hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Scania (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
