On Sunday, 21 December 2025, in the evening at 19:17, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 107), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
