On Wednesday, 24 December 2025, in the afternoon at 13:18, in Kauno district municipality, Piliuonos village, on Taikos pl. near No. 38, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra, a Mercedes-Benz and a Volvo S60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.62‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
