On Sunday, 28 December 2025, in the morning at around 7:00, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Šlavėnai–Kurkliai II–Kolonija regional road (kilometre 8.20), a BMW rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
