On Friday, 26 December 2025, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 40, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and an Audi A6 registered in Ukraine. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Ford (44 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered.
