On Tuesday, 30 December 2025, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on A. Kriščiukaičio street, at the junction with Veliuonos street, a car hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 17-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of a car (29 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
