On Friday, 15 March 2013, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Kaunas, on Liškiavos street near No. 14, a Mitsubishi Lancer ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (40 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.45‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
