On Saturday, 24 June 2017, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Liškiavos street near No. 21, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Volkswagen. He was drunk (3.95‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
