On Tuesday, 23 April 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Saulėgrąžų street near No. 1, a Volkswagen Transporter hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
