On Saturday, 9 November 2013, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Tauragės district municipality, Žygaičių town, on Bažnyčios street, at the junction with Parko street, a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
