On Friday, 27 December 2013, at night at around 3:00, in Šiauliai, on Vasario 16-osios street near No. 51, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Opel Omega hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 23-year-old pedestrian, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.10‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober.
