On Wednesday, 8 January 2014, in the evening at 17:16, in Vilnius, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Pelesos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi Q7, a Volkswagen Touran, a Citroen Berlingo, a Mitsubishi Carisma, a Volvo V70, a Volkswagen Multivan, a Renault Espace, a BMW 525 and a Chrysler Voyager. One person was injured — the 43-year-old driver of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. All drivers were sober.
