On Wednesday, 15 January 2014, in the morning at 7:54, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 19.10), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 82-year-old driver of the Audi 100 (54 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
