On Sunday, 8 June 2014, in the evening at around 21:00, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 19.30), a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 28-year-old cyclist, who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
