On Thursday, 6 March 2014, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Skapiškis–Pandėlys national road (kilometre 4.20), a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
