On Saturday, 8 March 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šiauliai, on Aido street near No. 41, a Chrysler Town & Country hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Chrysler (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
