On Sunday, 9 March 2014, at night at 3:32, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 26), a BMW 320 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
