On Saturday, 8 March 2014, in the afternoon at 14:45, in Trakų district municipality, on the Trakai–Rūdiškės–Pivašiūnai–Alytus national road (kilometre 4.15), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Volkswagen Vento.
