On Monday, 10 March 2014, in the afternoon at 11:25, in Vilnius, on Vilniaus street, at the junction with Lentvario street, a Fiat Marea ran off the road. Two people were injured — the 31-year-old driver of the Fiat (treated as an outpatient) and a 10-year-old passenger of the Fiat (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
