On Tuesday, 18 March 2014, at night at 3:12, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 110), a DAF FT XF95 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the DAF (a citizen of Poland) (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
