On Tuesday, 18 March 2014, in the afternoon at 14:01, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street, a Peugeot 407 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 27-year-old pedestrian, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.81‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober.
