On Friday, 21 March 2014, in the evening at 22:30, in Kaunas, on V. Kudirkos street near No. 34, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-5 and a Mazda 323. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Saab (a citizen of Azerbaijan) (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
