On Tuesday, 15 April 2014, in the afternoon at 15:42, in Pasvalio district municipality, on Geležinkeliečių street near No. 52, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC90 registered in Italy and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.31‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
