On Saturday, 10 May 2014, in the afternoon at 15:03, in Vilnius, on Savanorių pr. near No. 22, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
