On Monday, 12 May 2014, in the afternoon at 13:10, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Šėta–Ukmergė national road (kilometre 37), a Volkswagen Vento rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
