On Friday, 16 May 2014, in the morning at 7:13, in Raseinių district municipality, Kalnujų village, on the Raseiniai–Šilinė national road (kilometre 5.74), a Volvo V70 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
