On Friday, 16 May 2014, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 136), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Skoda (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
