On Saturday, 24 May 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, Skaidiškių village, on Sodų street near No. 13, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Explorer, an Audi A8, a Volkswagen Passat and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.82‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
