On Tuesday, 27 May 2014, in the evening at 20:26, in Kaunas, on Nuokalnės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Scenic and a Mercedes-Benz CLK200. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Renault (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
