On Saturday, 7 June 2014, in the afternoon at 12:12, in Vilnius, on Viršuliškių street, at the junction with Č. Sugiharos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (3.36‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
