On Friday, 20 June 2014, in the evening at 19:31, in Vilnius, on Genių street near No. 15, a Honda Accord hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 28-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Honda, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
