On Saturday, 21 June 2014, in the afternoon at 12:21, in Tauragės district municipality, on Stoties street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Legacy and a Volkswagen Vento. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Subaru (5 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
