On Friday, 18 March 2016, at night at around 0:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Bendrabučio skg. street near No. 2B, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and a Nissan Primera. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Seat, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.71‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
