On Sunday, 22 June 2014, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių pl., a Skoda Fabia hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 62-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Skoda (9 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
