On Saturday, 12 July 2014, in the morning at 8:40, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 60.40), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.93‰ blood alcohol).
