On Saturday, 19 July 2014, in the evening at 19:45, in Kaunas, on J. Borutos street, at the junction with Bernardinų Plytinės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi Q7 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
