On Sunday, 10 August 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šiauliai, on S. Šalkauskio street near No. 14B, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
