On Wednesday, 20 August 2014, at night at 3:16, in Šiauliai, on Gegužių street near No. 33, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra, a Volkswagen Passat, a BMW 728 and a Citroen Xsara. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Opel (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.01‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
