On Friday, 22 August 2014, in the evening at 22:45, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 12), a BMW 530 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
