On Saturday, 23 August 2014, in the evening at 20:09, in Vilnius, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Geležinio Vilko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi (11 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings, failed to give way when changing direction and failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
