On Monday, 25 August 2014, in the afternoon at 12:27, in Pasvalio district municipality, on Panevėžio street, at the junction with Pakrantės street, a quad bike rolled over. One person was injured — a 21-year-old passenger of a quad bike (hospitalized, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of a quad bike, who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (2.25‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
