On Monday, 17 September 2018, in the morning at around 10:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, on Panevėžio street, at the junction with P. Avižonio street, a Citroen C4 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 85-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Citroen (18 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
