On Monday, 25 August 2014, in the evening at 18:47, in Tauragės district municipality, Balčių village, on the Tauragė–Žygaičiai–Vainutas national road (kilometre 20), a Peugeot 406 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Peugeot (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
