On Wednesday, 27 August 2014, in the evening at 17:09, in Kaunas, on Panerių street near No. 222, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Land Rover Freelander, a Ford Mondeo and a KIA Motors Sorento. Three people were injured — the 45-year-old driver of the Ford (treated as an outpatient), a 39-year-old passenger of the Ford (treated as an outpatient) and a 47-year-old passenger of the KIA Motors (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Land Rover (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
