On Saturday, 27 September 2014, in the evening at 21:30, in Kaunas, on M. Valančiaus street, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW 530 D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
