On Saturday, 27 September 2014, at night at 23:30, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 85, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
