On Tuesday, 30 September 2014, in the afternoon at 13:10, in Šiauliai, on Vilniaus street near No. 72B, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and a Hyundai i 20. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
