On Sunday, 12 October 2014, in the evening at 19:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Misaičių village, on the Kryžkalnis–Rietavas–Vėžaičiai national road (kilometre 23.12), a BMW 530 XD hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
