On Monday, 20 October 2014, in the morning at 10:32, in Vilnius, on Nemenčinės pl., at the junction with Saulėtekio al., a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-5 and a Toyota Prius. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Saab (a citizen of Azerbaijan) (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
