On Thursday, 6 November 2014, in the evening at 21:40, in Šilutės district municipality, on H. Šojaus street, an Audi 80 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and fled the scene.
